Just Pictures + Almost Finished Pumpkin Carriage

Current Mood: Photobucket

Not feeling my best today, so I'm just going to go picture crazy. First, I'll post better photos of our Fairy Godmother. Mom named her "Gieselle."

Sadly, the foam glue Mom used on the pumpkin carriage to go with her completely destroyed the entire thing. She has to start all over from scratch now. It's a shame because it really was looking beautiful.

I love her red shoes. Aren't they cute?

As fairy godmother's go, I have a feeling Gieselle is a sassy one.

UPDATE:

Here is Mom's pumpkin carriage, on the road to being finished. She said carving it was really difficult, and the pretty silver buttons we chose to place on the wheels won't glue so we couldn't use them just yet. She isn't happy with what's on there right now, and even those aren't staying glued. There's a fancy window on the other side of the pumpkin, but it was too dark in the room to take more pictures. (Lousy camera). I didn't want to move the pumpkin around either, since the glue was still drying.

I'll post better pictures once we replace the wheel buttons and touch up the glitter. Oh! Mom is also going to add a pretty decorative decal on the door. We haven't bought one yet. We're even going to add pretty curtains inside the windows. Just FYI: There's a flickering candle inside, but it isn't shown in this picture.

I think it's looking really good already, and it isn't even finished!

Okay, here's my lame attempt at taking a photo of the window on the other side:

Mom can't find what she's looking for to place inside the fancy bell jar she got from my brother and SIL for her birthday, so for now I suggested we just use one of her Brambly Hedge teacups with some moss and the little bluebird eggs tucked inside. I should have taken the jar off before snapping the pic, but the camera batteries were dying again. I knew I had to take all these pictures fast.

Without further ado, here are some new Christmas friends we've added to our family.

Our snowman and this little deer don't have names yet.

Mom named this little guy writing his letter to Santa, "Wilson."

(It looks like Wilson's handwriting is far better than my own).

Have YOU been good this year?

(Unfortunately, I'm afraid I have).

- Made a few new posts on my writing blog HERE.

I just copy/pasted a l-o-n-g character chart and then a few articles.

I made a couple more 'Fever' siggies in GIMP today. On this computer I made them from, they're not too bad. I still have a lot to learn.

However... there's no telling what they look like on other computers and my laptop. I can only hope they don't look like the dog's breakfast.
