Alright, this gal has been pondering leaving Blogger and after what just happened.... my mind was made up for me. Last night, without warning, my blogs were all blocked to me. The only reason I'm able to post now is that I caved in and did Google's Voice Mail verification.
I know this isn't a popular blog - which I prefer, as I like having a smaller circle of blogging pals and I'm weird like that - but if for no reason at all you see my blogs as having been removed...... it wasn't me that removed it.
I'm just glad that I copy/pasted the posts from some of my other blogs the other day. (This one I haven't saved at all). I had a hunch the other day, and thank goodness for that! That's all I saved though - the posts on just a few of my other blogs - as the next time everything goes haywire I'm certainly not creating a new Blogger/Google account. I think I'll give Word Press a go next. I'll have to read up on it.
In the meantime, I might post here sporadically. (If they'll allow it). I'm all for protecting my account from spam and hackers with no life, but I am not a fan of having to use my telephone number to verify who I am. I'm not liking that invasion of privacy at all.
And what's up with my Follower's lists? Why is it showing me following myself? I didn't do that. Why the heck would I? Color me confused.
Since it started doing that, I realized that the photo which shows up on the feed are my Current Mood Avatars which appear all blurry and larger than they really are. I find that annoying and just plain u-g-l-y to look at. I guess I'll stop adding those little avatars, but that feels so strange to me; like walking out the front door without any shoes on.
And FYI -
If I don't return any comments, it's only because I'm being careful. I was returning comments when my blogs disappeared last night. I'm not being a blog snob or ignoring you, I promise. I just feel like I need to be very cautious for the time being.
Replying here on my own blog seems to be working fine, so I think I'll be doing that for a while. I want to reply to everyone, but I'm limiting myself to replying to only 3 or 4 at a time. Just please understand that I DO appreciate the time each and everyone of you take to leave a comment.
One of my favorite things has got to be this sweet little bell with the Yorkie pup. I found it at the antique mall for only $1. I fell instantly in love with it because it reminded me of our little Yorkie that we used to have. Her name was Tinkerbell, and there her likeness was on a little bell.
I thought that a fun little coincidence.
And years before, my mother bought a painting because it reminded us of Tink. Hmm, I'm sensing that even in the afterlife our little pup is still a diva demanding attention.
1. You don't have to be the owner of such a boring blog. Your old blog wasn't like this.
2. But it's the muse's fault that I'm so uninspired. If she weren't so busy on the piazza sipping cappuccino's and flirting with hot Italian men that love their Mama's, I might be doing something constructive like writing a best seller.
3. Basically I'm really stuck lately, not knowing what to do next that will make me happy.
4. How I interpret a good day is as follows: I didn't run into any walls or stub my toe... had a good hair day... didn't wake up cursing the alarm... got to cuddle with the furkids.
5. In this way, I'm pretty easy to please and lack imagination and a sense of adventure.
6. I believe it when my results to the Meyer's Brigg's test keeps saying I'm an INFJ. That's 1% of the world's population. I always knew I was different. A 'square peg' person in a 'round hole' planet.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to getting my time on the exercise bike over with, tomorrow my plans include forcing myself to be creative by making another necklace and Sunday, I want to wake up realizing I'm a Texas lottery winner!
Confession:
For me, this quote doesn't just apply to people and pets. It also applies to arriving and leaving Walt Disney World.
And EVERY hardcore Disney fan on the planet knows what I'm talking about!
The day you leave The Happiest Place on Earth is a depressing day... which is why bringing souvenirs home are so important, am I right?
Yes, I know. I HAVE to mention Disney at least once or twice a week else I'll spontaneously combust. It's who I am and I'm running on the last of my Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah fumes from my last WDW trip back in October... 2009 was it?
Made a new necklace over the weekend. It really could have been made a lot prettier, but I'm in desperate need of just some simple necklaces that will match more of my work clothes. And while this isn't my best necklace, it does look better than the photo. Sorry it's so dark.
Also, these cameo charms are the one's I took off of the larger charms a while back. I have so many of them and it'd be a shame to waste them all. I might add a little draping chain to the center of it sometime. I haven't really decided yet. I do think I'll make another one with the blue beads though (pictured below). I might as well since I have enough of those beads and so many of that one little charm.
More photos are on my Crafty Emporium blog listed in the sidebar. One of these days I'm really going to try to take better photos of my necklaces. I'm really having a lot of trouble taking a good picture with this camera. It's rather frustrating.

A couple months ago I told my niece that one movie she simply has to see is "Love in The Afternoon" with Audrey Hepburn. I almost texted her about it again last night, and lo and behold a few minutes ago my mother tells me that it's coming on tv right now.
See? I told ya I wasn't just weather and Disney World psychic. I'm also MOVIE psychic. I wouldn't be at all surprised if my other movie classic recommendation I had for my niece - "Lilies of the Field" with Sidney Poiter - comes on tv soon as well.
I hope my sister got our message and DVR's it. I LOVE this movie. The only scenes I can't watch is whenever that mean old biddy slaps her dog. That's always bothered me.
WARNING:
I beg you to please NOT watch the second clip if you've never seen the movie before.
Abby's birthday is coming up, so Mom made all the girls some homemade vanilla ice cream. We gotta celebrate somehow, ya know!
The girls loooove it. I even have proof, in the photo below, of just how fond Abby is of ice cream. The evidence is marking her mouth and brow, literally.
I found this really awesome blog hop today! I never did officially join it, but answering the questions was a fun distraction from devouring the rest of my little pint of Starbucks ice cream.
Outside my window... it's a dangerous place because of all those mosquitoes. (Currently, West Nile Virus is the worst here in Texas. It's pretty scary).
I am thinking... I'm craving an iced mocha.
I am thankful... I have iced mocha in the fridge, but not too much which means I'll have to drink less than I really desire to.
In the kitchen... my little 5 pound pommie is always tattling on the cat.
I am wearing... cozy pajamas which are starting to get covered in cat fur because Wendy Kitty thinks my lap is her royal pillow to lie on.
I am creating... another post of babbling, and I'm certain something about Disney will crop up at some point. It's how I'm wired.
I am going... to be very depressed once the new school year starts. I'm going to have to add elementary and... oh, the horror!... middle school to my accepted job assignments. I far prefer junior high. It's a weird age, but I love that I don't have to treat them like babies and walk them to all their classes and pay extra attention to the hands of the clock.
I am wondering... why the E! channel is so obsessed with those boring Kardashians. They need to rename the E! channel, K! There is nothing "entertaining" about that family or channel.
I am reading... nothing at the moment, which is pathetic considering how ginormous by TBR pile is.
I am hoping... to win the Texas lottery before I'm planted in the ground.
I am looking forward to... another trip to Disney World, whenever that will be.
I am learning... that there are a lot of mysteries out there but I kind of like it like that.
Around the house... I need to vacuum and sweep for the umpteenth time. The kitty litter trail and doggy fur multiplies by the hour.
I am pondering... why Abby's favorite dog toy is that silly little bird seed bucket. Every single night, she asks me to get it out so that she can flay fetch with it.
A favorite quote for today...
One of my favorite things... is peace and quiet. Loud noises drive me up the wall. Words cannot describe how easily I'm affected by it sometimes.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Using A LOT of mosquito spray when I have to go outside in this wretched heat and humidity filled with scary mosquitoes.
A peek into my day...
Watching Izzy with her daily routine of keeping guard over the house. She likes to eagle eye the front door from the gallery area above the stairs.
- I'm thankful that after seeing over half of my pictures on ALL my blogs disappear day after day, I've finally taken the time to re-upload them. My fingers are crossed that it was worth it.
- I'm thankful that I did my daily exercise bike time for the day.
- I'm thankful that a cousin of mine just got custody of his son.
- I'm thankful that even though we don't get to celebrate seasons around here and that ice in the winter only exists in the freezer, it doesn't change the fact that summer is halfway over.
- I'm thankful for watching a sweet movie classic on YouTube last night. It was the original movie which "I'd Rather Be Rich" was a remake of. I enjoyed IRBR more, but I loved the father in this movie. They don't make movies like they used to, so thank goodness for YouTube!
- I'm thankful that my dream last night was just that.
- I'm thankful that my brother and ex-SIL did the selfless thing and gave us Abby to look after. I know that was really, really hard for them to do.
Okay, so it's not exactly a LOL video but it is cute. It's Abby when she was younger. Even back then, she was a Disney Dog!
Someday building a house on our 2 acres... hopefully.
Also restoring our sad-looking, yet very much adored barn/shed.

The security guard who makes Disney dreams come true!
Excerpt from article -
The photo from September 2008 shows Alli Bunchuk, then just 5 and outfitted in the light-blue, puffy-sleeved gown of her favorite princess, signing Wieczorek’s book. For the Bunchuk family, who are planning their eighth trip to the park in September, it was a standout moment.
“We started to walk in the park when the security guard stopped her and said, ‘Excuse me, Princess, can I have your autograph?’” recalls her grandmother, Barbara Bunchuk. “She couldn’t believe it. Throughout the day, she kept saying, ‘I can’t believe he thought I was a real princess.’”
“She kind of floated around all day,” said Bunchuk, 65, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
It’s not just the little Snow Whites and Ariels who enjoy the moment. Parents and grandparents are often excited and encourage their kids to sign the book, Wieczorek said. When youngsters are too shy, “the parents take it harder than I do,” he said.
Still, the interactions mean a lot to Wieczorek. “It makes my magic, too,” he said. “The magic is not limited to the guests.”
A Disney spokeswoman says employees are encouraged to engage with park visitors, including by asking for autographs. In fact, Wieczorek got the autograph idea from a training class.
Wieczorek, who has seven grandchildren, started by asking his granddaughter to sign his book and he kept on going. “After seeing the feedback from the parents I continued it, and I’m on my eighth book,” he said.
Wieczorek says his job as a bag checker suits him because he gets to interact with people. “I wanted to have every guest that goes through my line leaving with a smile and so far, I managed that,” he said.
If it’s raining, he welcomes grumpy grownups to the “Magic Kingdom Water Park.” He puts children at ease when searching their bags by telling them he’s looking for red apples because Snow White is afraid of them. And he’s learning to say “Have a Magical Day” in 15 languages.
“I’m up to nine so far and it really makes the guests feel special,” he said.
And for making so many children joyful when they’re already at the happiest place on Earth, his fans are grateful for making their day extraordinary.
The cattle and Texas Longhorn I filmed in the bluebonnets last spring.
They seemed to be taking it easy that weekend.

YES - The girl's answer to being given the left over roast beef this afternoon.
- I LOVE that I live in world that has cappuccino's and iced mocha's, but I hate that it's so addictive.
- I LOVE that I at least have an exercise bike, but I hate that I hate it so much.
- I LOVE that Wendy Kitty is still with us, but I hate that I know she won't be with us for much longer. Even though she doesn't act sick, I can still see her rapidly declining and showing her age.
- I LOVE that Abby will now come downstairs by herself, but I hate that she still feels she has to have an escort to go down those stairs.
Or perhaps she desires an escort because we treat her like a princess?
