Garden Pots, Barns & Halloween?

This is Abby's new favorite game. A gust of wind blew an empty pot Mom had just emptied across the patio, and from that second on Abby was obsessed.

Hopefully, the video will play. I don't know why all my videos aren't loading now. Even the one's from older posts are blank. I don't know what the problem is because I can still view them on Photobucket. I just can't here on my blog.





And more Instagram photos... because I have my own obsessions, same as little Abigail.





I really need to start taking more pics of the other girls, but they're harder to snap photos of.





This is my first - or 2nd? - Rural Thursday! I figured a photo of our old dilapidated "barn" on our land would be appropriate. It's a run-down thing, but we love it.









And of course I have to include one of the baby deer that was born on our land. Our neighbor said that twin deer were born beneath our tree on the far side of the fence.

The dates for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party have been announced! Mom and I aren't going, but for some odd reason it's still kind of exciting to me. It's my favorite time of year to visit.

Speaking of Disney, I had another "Disney Psychic" moment the other day. While getting ready one morning, I had a song from The Lion King playing inside my head. (And I am no longer a fan of TLK, as I used to babysit this neighbor of mine and we would watch that movie something like 2 times a day). Well, that same evening I was turning the channel on the television and there it was playing.

So I guess there's no denying it. Disney is in my blood. In my very psyche.

I think that sometime soon I'm going to transfer one of my old Disney trip reports to this blog. I also want to do a Disney World post; about making reservations, etc. My mother has learned so many tricks and tips about that kind of thing, and I'd like to share it here just for fun.

Miscellany Wednesday

Haven't been here in a while. Thank goodness my visits to the dentist are over. The last one was Monday afternoon.

On Friday, my mother and I met up with my grandmother and aunt (visiting from Illinois). We didn't really go anywhere special, so I didn't take any photos.

Little Izzy, our pommie, was VERY sick for 3 or 4 days. We were really worried about her, but thank goodness she's okay now. She started feeling better yesterday, and today she's her old self again.

Anyway, let the babbling (well, photos really) commence......

My niece and one of her best friends broke their school's record. Both are freshman trying our for drum major, and both made the final cuts. They're the FIRST freshman in the history of their school to make all the cuts.

I'm really proud of my niece, because I know she must have been so frightened. She's a brave lass.
