Snow Pics - Part Deux

Here are more pics from Dad. Most of them were blurry, seeing as he foolishly took them WHILE HE WAS DRIVING!

Anyway, I think that first pic with the bear is hilarious. Also, this past week I've been leaving signs for him in front of our security cams... hence the sign with the bear.

Snow Pics from Dad

Here are some pics Dad took this morning, around 7 am. (He works in Clinton, Iowa but his apartment is in Fulton, Illinois). He might take video after work later, so if he does I'll post it at the bottom of this entry.

So far he really hates it. He hates it just as much as he hates being alone in that town. (Dad never did like snow, and he wasn't exactly prepared. He didn't even buy proper boots until this morning). He says it's pretty, but he hates driving in it.

Personally, I think it's GORGEOUS in how it dresses up the trees.

Since Dad isn't a fan of the white stuff, he couldn't even begin to tell us how much snow fell. His answers were a terse "A lot" and "It's cold." Lol! Thank goodness for the internet and weather channel!

So far they've received 8 inches, and the temperature is 28 degrees; feels like 20 though. Also, they're expecting more snow throughout the day. 80% chance the last time I looked.

Friday Already?

- I've been finding some AWESOME Christmas wallpaper, so this blog is likely to change A LOT over the holidays.

- I started taking more video of our lights, but the dang batteries (which I just put in 2 days ago and barely used) died on me.

So here's just one video:
(Hopefully it's a song I haven't recorded yet)



I also added flickering candles in two of the windows in the dining room. (Which I don't have on video of course because of the batteries croaking on me).

- Dad experienced his first big snowfall today. He hasn't taken any pics yet. When he does, I'll post them. I think they received 3 or 4 inches so far.

- Pray for me. I have Junior High Science tomorrow. (If any of them are on Santa's Naughty List, I'll know about it).

- When buying lotto tickets this morning, there was a lady there with her little dog. It was so little and CUTE! He looked really sweet, and get this... the spots on his back formed a perfect MICKEY MOUSE head!

Naturally, she named him "Mickey."

- Finally saw "How To Train Your Dragon." It was really cute.

- Ooh, Gerry with longer hair again. Yum!

Can I marry him now? Tonight?
