I finally got around to watching last night's Idol. I have a splitting headache right now, so I'll try not to babble too much.
Just remember that the key word here is "try." Lol!

Jordan Dorsey - Needs to get over himself.
Tiffany Rios - Definition of "snob" and a few other words in the dictionary I'd rather not list as they aren't PG-rated.
My condolences go to her family, for her having to return home.
Ashley Sullivan - I think watching her rollercoaster emotional state is why I have a migraine right now. I wish she would just go away.
Rob Bolin - I like Rob, and even though he wasn't great last night I'm a little sad to see him go.
Chelsee Oaks - I think she's really great.
Jacqueline Dunford - Should have been let go. I think she was a disaster last night.
Scott McCreery - His snobbery surprised and disappointed me. (Just walking off on Brett after he sang, and the whole Jacee ordeal). Still, in the end he surprised me again with all those tears. I'm not sure whether he regrets his behavior over Jacee because it was wrong, or because it made him look bad.
My gut tells me his conscience finally kicked in, and perhaps being on Idol will temper that arrogance. (A lot like David Cook said about his own experience. I LOVE David Cook, and he did confess that in the beginning he was a little cocky but that the show cured him of that).
By the way, I think Scott will go far no matter what. He doesn't need Idol. His voice is so unique and I can easily imagine hearing him on the radio right now.
Lauren Alaina - Another fantastic one. I'm really not a fan of female singers, but I think she's really, really, REALLY good. She seems like a nice person, too, and I think she'll go far in the competition.
I think she'll make it to the top 3 at least.
Adrian Michael - I really liked this guy. He looks so clean cut and has a nice voice. I was surprised to see he was from Pearland. (Before moving here, I lived there for 23 years).
Casey Abrams - I didn't love him last night, but he's still one of my favorites.
Okay, I think he IS my favorite.
Chris Medina - I liked him better before, but I still think he's good.
Brett Loewenstern - Most definately one of my favorites! I love the tone of his voice, and he seems like a really honest, sweet guy. I LOVE him!
Denise Jackson - Fantastic!
James Durbin - This guy isn't a singer. He's a cryer and a screeaaameeeeer! I really hope he and Ashley Sullivan never hook up. ('Like attracting Like' and all).
If they ever do get together, I'm afraid their tears will drown at least the Continental United States, and James's cockatiel-like screeching will cause the earth's poles to shift.
Wait a minute?! I think I just solved the mystery of 2012!
Jacee Badeaux - I love, love, LOVE this kid! First of all, he's a sweetheart. Second of all, he's a trooper, and third.... he can actually sing. His voice is really sweet.
I think he needs to project his voice a little more, but there's just something about him that I love!
Matthew Nuss - Okay, I don't know what's going on with his hair but I love this guy's voice! I can't wait to hear him sing again.
Carson Higgins - Yes, he's goofy but the guy can sing. He's interesting and different, which I really like.
The Minors - (Sorry, I can't remember all their names). The mothers got on my nerves, and I really can't understand how the judges thought they were the best group. I mean I really, really didn't get that but... I honestly loved their reactions to making the cut. I thought it was really sweet to watch.
