Dear Wendy Kitty,
Why are you so obsessed with sitting on the mat in front of the stove? Do you think it's a teleportation device that will send you back to your home planet?

Dear Self,
Keep calm and step away from the panic button. Your first dentist appointment is this Monday, and they won't even do any work that day. So no, please don't flip out by slamming your fist onto that ginormous red panic button just yet.

Dear Bluebirds,
It's been nice knowing that you're building a new nest. I always enjoy seeing you.

Dear Spiders,
Please stop gathering in my bathtub and sink. I'm tired of rescuing you. One of these days I might snap and do the normal thing, which is to squash your little bodies to Kingdom Come.

Dear Izzy,
Thank you, darling, for helping me get Abby to eat her dog food again. (Abby is a fan of people food and not her own gourmet doggie food, but if there's competition for food with the other girls - including the cat - she's suddenly a big fan).

Dear Birds,
I'm sorry Abby keeps barking at you when you're just minding your own business in your own trees.

Dear Insomnia,
I know I should hate you, but you created a miracle last night. Thanks to your persistence in keeping me awake while the rest of the world is asleep and dreaming, I finally used the craft room.

Dear Gerry,
I'm sorry I've been a neglectful fan girl all these months. I still love you and would be more than happy to marry you tomorrow. I think you'll be very happy with a Texas gal, only you just don't know it yet.





Dear New JoAnn's store,
Must you torture me with your awesome collection of scrapbooking and jewelry supplies complete with 50% off coupons? I haven't won the lottery yet, so stop luring me in like an Iced Mocha from McDonald's. Have some compassion, eh?

Dear George Strait,
I'm pretty sure my mother is crazy in lust for you. After all, she named our old pick up truck after you.

Dear Intuition,
Your prediction on the person that would be kicked off American Idol this week was spot on. Now tell me the winning lottery numbers.

Dear Books,
Why must this love/hate relationship continue? I become happily immersed into your world, but at the same time I view you as a study guide. A college course in Writing 101.

I'M NOT WRITING ANYMORE, SO BUGGER OFF! I just want to enjoy your perfectly arranged strings of pretty words and leave the studying... and obsessing... and angst behind. Books are meant to be enjoyed, not dissected like some poor frog lying inside a metal tray in some 8th grader's science class.

Dear 'Once Upon A Time' tv series,
Pleeeaaaase tell me the rumors are wrong. Please tell me August Boothe isn't really... gulp... Pinocchio. Learning that this mysterious, Harley-Davidson-riding man with his beautiful blue eyes and love for the written word and old timey typewriters could very well have been a wooden puppet in the Fairytale world is not assisting my growing fan girl crush. I can't for the life of me get the "I got no strings" song out of my head.

And about The Blue Fairy--- I receive the feeling she's really a member of The Dark Side, no? She says she's on the "right side."

Hmmm... that's food for thought right there. I never liked her sugary demeanor and jellyfish looking dress anyway, so bring on the darkness! Maybe she'll become a lot more interesting now. I'm looking forward to it.

And I LOVE what the writers have done with Mr. Gold's character so far!!!!! He's my favorite.

Okay, I'm rambling now.

Dear BBC America,
Thank you for airing the Doctor Who reruns again, but must you always edit the best parts? Thanks to your affinity for deleting the best scenes, any newbies to Tennant's era don't know what they're missing.
